Meet Ava
Fine Art Painter
Ava’s use of tonal values and developed techniques of textured brushwork to depict soft sensorial forms unique to her artistic style. She has always had a keen interest in art history with a love of the storytelling aspects in the works of Herbert Draper and the Pre-Raphelites while gravitating towards the deep, saturated colour pallets of the Rococo painters.
In a recent article in Flux Magazine, Ava Khera says, “Exploring the modern female experience and the natural world through my paintings provides me a well of opportunity to communicate not only my personal experiences and perceptions of my subjects but also provides a window into understanding what I personally connect with most in this world.” She adds, “I choose to paint modern and diverse women in the context of beautiful natural scenes. Re-framing the narrative of what it means to be a woman in the timelessness of nature. I feel I am contributing to the world of art what should always have been voiced but scarcely was until recently.”
Gaining enthusiastic clients both in the UK and internationally, Ava Khera is making waves in the art world as a fresh perspective in the representational and contemporary art market.
